May Round Up – Make The Most Of Now

Life is short.

That seems to have been the theme for my May. I’ve been having quite a bit of an existential crisis. The world also seems to have been making a point of ramming home the reminder that we are all gonna die someday.

So let’s make the most of now. Don’t settle. Seek out enjoyment – all the time. And keep things in perspective. Be grateful for all the little things – like having people who love you. Because, as corny as it sounds, that’s actually the biggest thing.

Go out and love things. Be enthusiastic about everything.

Stuff I found in May worth recommending:

Quote
“Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life.” – Steve Jobs

Song
I Don’t Feel Hate by Jendrik (– This will improve your day!)

Fact
Every human literally glows. It’s really hard to see with the naked eye (it’s about 1,000 less intense than the light we can see, so researchers used special cameras), but humans emit a small quantity of visible light throughout the day. (And it fluctuates with our metabolism!)

Book
Nick Bare’s 25 Hours In A Day.

Flash fiction prompt
Flash fiction are micro stories of around five to 1.5k words. This month’s prompt is:
The end.
