April Round Up

Hello sun!

I cannot tell you (probably an issue, considering my profession) how excited I am about the sun starting to appear more here in the UK. I am definitely a summer > winter girl, and I am already feeling those long, relaxing evenings outside and bright early mornings. Plus, you know, the significant lack of coldness.

The end of April also marks the end of the first third of the year – how is everyone doing with their 2021? I hope everything is going well.

Stuff I found in April worth recommending:

Quote
“If people sat outside and looked at the stars each night, I bet they’d live a lot differently. When you look into infinity, you realise there are more important things than what people do all day.” – Calvin and Hobbes/Bill Watterson.

Song

I meant to include this in a previous month, so it’s not brand new anymore, but still worthwhile! I heard this song a few times before I properly listened to the lyrics, and they hit on so many levels – I was surprised I hadn’t paid attention before! It’s a beautiful song too.
Drivers licence by Olivia Rodrigo
